I am an ardent journalism student at the University of Oklahoma interested in broadening public awareness through storytelling. I have always been fascinated by the intersection of history, art and stories. I am pursuing a minor in theatre, with a pre-law specification.

I have always been a storyteller. From a very young age, I have read voraciously, shaping my character and understanding through the words I’ve loved and been comforted by. From reading and familiarizing myself with stories and books, I have gained empathy and been impacted by the power and importance of words in shaping culture, addressing injustice, and creating an involved, engaged community.
